Emphasis is placed on the following: the writing process, grammatical structure, study skills, literature appreciation, spelling and vocabulary development, research skills, presentation skills and the development of reading strategies. In language arts, our course of study will focus on the four modes of language communication: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
